Once described as Estes Park’s best kept secret, Listening at the Legion is now high on the list of listening rooms across the country. It’s on the radar of the world’s most accomplished internationally touring artists and their agents. We are attracting an ever-increasing crowd of music lovers from Colorado and beyond. In fact, at our Trace Bundy concert on February 28,, a couple drove from Topeka, Kansas!
The last six shows have all been at or near sellouts. Our visiting artists have all called Listening at the Legion one of their favorite places to perform. Is it because of our new state-of-the-art sound system? No, but thanks to Randy Welch, that’s first class. Is it because of the amazing ambiance of our room and its decorations? No, but, thanks to Beth Engel, we truly have a wonderful setting. What all the artists laud is what every artist wants: an appreciative, attentive, responsive audience. And that’s on all of you! You listen, embrace, respond, and reward the artists with your applause, your smiles, your tears, and your welcoming hearts. Who could ask for anything more?
