The Volunteers of Listening at the Legion

When you come to a concert at Listening at the Legion, you’ll be surrounded by fellow music lovers. That includes the group of volunteers whose work makes these shows possible. In the coming months we will highlight the individuals who donate their time and talents to the music series. But, the list of volunteers isn’t just the folks who attend the meetings and have assigned “jobs”. Hang around after the show, and watch who steps in to help clean up. Audience members, just like you, are helping out. You’re bussing tables, picking up the decorations that Beth so tastefully arranged, and rearranging the chairs and tables.

In my business, I used the word “Stakeholder” when referring to people who invested themselves in the success of others. That’s what it feels like when you step in to help out. Every small act is a testament to the value of Listening at the Legion to our community. We’re honored, and thankful for every one of you who pitch in to make Listening at the Legion even better.
