We’re happy to report that in 2025, attendance at every show was more than double what we were normally drawing in 2023 and significantly better than what we had in 2024. But, we’ve raised the bar again. Listening at the Legion is garnering a reputation as a really good place for artists to perform. We can be “pickier” now than ever before and yet still book a full concert schedule for 2026. Every show is good, and we’re already working on making 2027 and that eagerly anticipated 100th concert even better than 2026. There’s a link below that’ll take you to our concert schedule. Mark Rashid’s concert on January 8 marks a milestone. It’s the 75th concert since Jackson Emmer graced the stage for Number 1, four years ago this summer, Like most of our birthdays, hitting 75 is a big deal, but it’s more mental than anything else. Like Mark’s concert, a birthday is a sign of sustainability. We “made it” another year, or another concert, and now we can keep the ball rolling forward to the next one.
Those of you who have been with us since the beginning have personally witnessed the evolution of this Listening Room, from its appearance, sound and lighting, to the marketing and management, and most important, how we always do it in the best interests of our patrons. Please be assured that we are always raising the bar. “How can we do it better?” gets asked constantly, and we’ve always got something in the works to accomplish exactly that.
Our goal is to earn an excellent review of every show, and we intend to do that this year approximately 23 times!
