Three and a half years and 75 concerts! Over 5,000 folks walking through our doors, many coming into the Legion for the very first time. All of them smiling, clapping, laughing, and occasionally crying to a particularly poignant moment with a particularly amazing artist. Almost all of them returning again and again for another opportunity to smile, clap, laugh, or cry with yet again another amazing international songwriter.
Wow. Hooda thunk it? The Mark Rashid concert on January 8th marks our 75th concert of Listening at the Legion! Seems like only last month that Jackson Emmer did our first show to a near full house on June 3, 2022. And it seems like only last week that we hosted our 50th show with Tom Paxton and the DonJuans…
And we ain’t done yet! By this time next year we’ll be announcing our fast approaching 100th concert. Not sure who that will be, but it’ll be big! Thanks to Cindy and our dedicated committee, our lineup for this year is complete, with artists who are going to blow you away!
Finally, thanks to all of you for repeatedly filling our hall with smiles, laughter, applause, and tears. We couldn’t, nor wouldn’t, do it without each and every one of you!
