You know Randy Welch. He’s the guy with the iPad at every show, fine-tuning the sound so that y’all can hear every note just the way it was intended. Randy is more than that, though. He’s the person who acquired and installed the new sound system, including all new amplifiers, mixers, sound thingamabobs, and most of the cables. You may be able to hear the difference, and the artists surely can. Every single one who has performed since the improvements has raved and bragged on Randy about how good the sound is.
Randy is well-known about town. He helps folks with tech issues at the Estes Park Library, and sings with two different choirs in town and a couple of smaller singing ensembles. He was also in last year’s “A Christmas Story” and the Broadway Revue put on by the Estes Park Fine Arts Guild. But that’s not all. Our dear friend spends so much time in public places espousing the virtues of our fine community, that one of the local restaurants awarded Randy with the very coveted “Mister Estes Park” sash!
We are beyond thankful to have Randy as part of the Listening at the Legion team, and even moreso to have him as a friend. Thank you, kind sir. We’re all better because of you.
