It is hard to believe, but our June 4th presentation of James Kirby marked the beginning of our fifth year as Estes Park’s nationally acclaimed Listening Room. With 87 shows completed and over 6,000 attendees, it is the perfect time to celebrate our accomplishments. None of this would be possible without you—our appreciative, energetic, and supportive audience. Every artist we host praises our attentive and enthusiastic crowds; they love an audience that truly listens and engages. You have made our program what it is today.
I am also thrilled to announce that Listening at the Legion’s 100th show will take place on January 9th, featuring Mark Powell. Born and raised in West Texas, Mark brings an authentic country sound paired with a high-energy, “Chris LeDoux-style” live performance. Mark has achieved numerous #1 hits in Texas Country music, including a Song of the Year. He has shared the stage with legends, toured six countries, and collaborated with top industry hit-makers. Sixteen other artists have recorded his songs, four of which reached the national Top 40. Mark also performs for 30,000 fans each March at his annual Outlaws and Legends music festival. This promises to be a spectacular evening of music and celebration. Details on tickets will be announced shortly.
