This month we are spotlighting two of our most enthusiastic supporters, sponsors Pat and Kay Boyle. After attending numerous concerts since our inception, Pat and Kay liked what they saw and heard. They thought about buying season tickets, but realized they wanted to further support LATL and the Legion by being sponsors of our program. So last year they added their names to the growing list of community minded folks supporting both our Post and music in our town by becoming sponsors.
You will see Pat and Kay at most shows sitting right up front, buying food and drink, cracking jokes and enjoying the concert!
Pat and Kay both owned and ran a gymnastics training facility in the Denver area before retiring and moving to Estes Park. This isn’t the first time they’ve lived here, though. Pat was a chef, and worked in a few different restaurants up here in his younger days. Since retiring, both Pat and Kay have ramped up their passion for golf, With Pat in the mens’ league, and Kay in the ladies’ league, plus numerous other days on the course, you will find them satisfying their souls even more (if frustrating their intellect at the same time)! They’ve also held season tickets for the Broncos and UC Buffalos for many years, If it’s a home game, they’re there.
Bringing folks together to enjoy really good music is just a part of what makes Listening at the Legion so special. Many of our guests will come early to enoy a great meal at Tavern at the Legion, They listen as Randy and the band do their sound checks, meet old friends, and often get a chance to have a conversation with the artists. Folks like Sponsors Pat and Kay Boyle are what our program is all about. Two great folks enjoying themselves, the music, and the camaraderie of others. We’re thankful for their presence!
